The Park Grill

"We visited Park Grill on Monday, 11/17/25 for lunch and again Tuesday 11/18/25 for dinner. If this review was pertaining to our first visit only, it would be 5's across the board. Sidney provided outstanding service, food was amazing! I had the fried rainbow trout with fries and salad bar. Portion of trout was outstanding and was cooked to perfection. Salad bar is probably the best we have visited in Gatlinburg! My wife had the New York strip with fries and salad bar. Her steak was cooked perfectly and she said it was wonderful. We visited the first time for lunch so baked potatos weren't available, but the fries were very good. Overall, it was almost a perfect lunch experience, costing approximately $114.00 before tip. (This did include a cple of drinks as well) The second visit on the 18th was for dinner and while the food was out of this world delicious, the service was sub par. We were seated after a few minutes wait and Jorge' was our waiter. He did take our order pretty quickly, and delivered drinks on time. We enjoyed the delicious salad bar and our dinner arrived pretty quick as well. I had the filet mignon with potato and wife had New York strip with potato. Both steaks were of the highest quality of meat, cooked perfectly and unbelievably tender. Both had that wood fired flavor that many restaurants just simply dont provide. However service became non existent at this point. We waved down another waiter who brought us another round of drinks, as well as some bread which we had not received. At this point a manager arrives at our table and hears our issues with our original waiter. She listened and did offer a free dessert, which we declined. We simply wanted service worthy of the food we enjoyed as well as comparable to our first visit there. She suggested Jorge' was usually one of their better servers then jokingly suggested we request Sidney on our next visit. Dinner was approx $ 120.00 with tip. We will definitely return again, but even as wonderful as the food is at the Park Grill, had we got the service on our first visit that we received on the second visit, not sure we would return. I must add though, the food here, including salad bar and dessert is by far, some of the best food we have ever in Gatlinburg. Give it a shot, providing your server is comparable to Sidney, you will have a wonderful experience and delious food!"

"The service here is phenomenal! We've never had this good of service at any restaurant. The food was cooked perfect! The salad bar is a must! There was a huge selection of salad toppings and dressings. Entrees come with unlimited salad bar. Extremely fresh vegetables that are refilled every 15 minutes. Our waitress and other staff members went above and beyond our expectations. They refilled our drinks without asking, offered several condiments, and even gave my wife a tea to go. One of the best places to eat in Gatlinburg! We travel here every year from Michigan."

"We checked this place out because we heard the salad bar was amazing and that it was The Peddlers sister restaurant. The salad bar did not disappoint! My boyfriend loved the smoked oysters offered and I really enjoyed the pasta and potato salad. The entrees were also very good. The chicken was a good combination of sweet and savory. My boyfriend loved the trout. The black bear brownie bash was also such a nice treat. I would definitely recommend this place!"
