"This was fun! It’s a little pricey but so is everything else in Gatlinburg. The views were awesome. The ride on the ski lift up the mountain looked a lot steeper from the ground. It was a fun ride up and down. The skybridge is a nice walk with great views. The center of the bridge is glass and the you can look straight down at the ground. It has 6 huge cables and 4 more angled to the sides. It still sways and bounces especially at the center. When you get to the other side, there’s chairs on the patio to sit and enjoy the views. They have food and drinks available. We were here in November so it wasn’t crowded."
"The Skybridge park was awesome! There was plenty of seating and gorgeous views! The restrooms were close by and there was plenty of libations available for the adults that wanted to go up the mountain, they had local drafts and regular ole beers, something for everybody."
"This was a lot of fun. The lines are long, but they move fast, and the views are worth it. We walked the sky ridge and did a short hike on the Mountain Man trail. The sky ridge is a cable suspension bridge with a glass bottom portion, so it's not for everyone. But there is a paved walkway for the faint of heart."
Consider visiting outside of peak seasons or during weekdays to potentially enjoy a less crowded experience on the Skybridge and at the viewing areas.
Beat the rush and potential crowdedness by visiting during off-peak times, like mid-week or during the shoulder seasons. Don't forget that even with a ski lift ride up, there's a paved walkway option available on the Skybridge if the glass-bottom section isn't for you.
